Ryszard Gbiorczyk was born in 1940 in Dłużyna
- a small village in Wielkopolska. After finishing education he
helped his father to run family business. Together they redecorated
churches, made polychrome, renovated sculptures.
He is a graduate of University of Maria
Curie Skłodowska in Lublin. He had his first exhibition in 1961.
He loves painting outdoors. Country manors, cottages, water and
windmills, flowers, fields and meadows belong to his favourite
subjects. Richard is an optimist and a very cheerful man. Paintings
are full of colour and sunlight. The artist has travelled extensively.
His works can be found in private collections and celebrate the
beauty of his native landscapes.
He makes paintings to private persons as
well as companies order. Since three years he run his own company
- Atelier "GBIO-ART".
